Are you drowning in a sea of crafts that have no home? Is there a giant pile of stuff hanging around your desk? Well your perfect solution is to take something that you would never think to organize your belongings and stow them away so you can finally be clutter free.

What you’ll need:

A pink tackle box

Time (never underestimate it)

What to do:

The easiest way to organize things, just like laundry is to place them in piles, so make sure that all your things are separated into piles

I would suggest piling them like so:

  • Pens and pencils
  • Markers
  • Colored pencils
  • Crayons
  • Tools (like rulers, erasers, white out, etc.)

Once you have all your piles, designate slots that all your items will go in. An optional route to take is to label each and every slot so that you won’t ever misplace anything. One of my best friends used a tackle box to organize her craft tools and it was one of the best decisions she made. This is also a great option for the child in your life who needs a place to put all of his or her art supplies.

Pro-tip: A great idea is to not only organize your belongings, but to make sure you have everything to cover your bases when it comes to crafting. Get yourself some 4 packs crayons; it’ll round out your drawing utensils to make sure you can use every medium. A good tool to add to anything else you have, like a ruler or a protractor is some retractable measuring tape. It’s a great tool to have if you ever need it for scrapbooking or quilting.
