Having an organized garage can be a very tiring experience. Not only getting your garage organized, but keeping it organized as well. There is a wide variety of different items in the garage, from tools to toys, to garden items, cleaning materials, and a vast variety of other possible items. So what’s the easiest way to keep all of that organized? Pegboard! Here’s how to get it done:
- anchors (if necessary)
Most pegboard come in two by four panels, so get however many you need. Try and find a stud to attach the panel to. If there are studs where you want hang the panel, use anchors to attach it. Make sure you put spacers between the panel and wall so you’ll have room to place the pegboard hooks into the holes.
Finally place the hooks as needed to best arrange your items. A hook kit can hold everything from small items like screws and nails, to small tools like wrenches and hammers, to larger items like rakes and leaf blowers.
- you can paint the pegboard to match the color of your walls
- Place the larger items at the bottom. Not only will they be easier to reach, but the panel won’t be top heavy
