Today we’re embarking on yet another fashion extravaganza – that’s right, time again for our favorite category of crafts – those you can wear! Today we’re going to be making a complimentary set of goods – a pair of shoes and purse that you’ll be able to wear out and match together. Well, let’s get right to it!
What You’ll Need
- One pair of fantastic black heels you plan to decorate.
- A simple cloth or nylon black purse or handbag.
- Black petals. These can be hard to obtain individually, but you can often find a cloth of black petals. All you’ll need to do is cut them apart with a fiskars paper cutter.
- Fabric adhesive.
What To Do
You’ll want to start off by giving your purse and shoes a proper cleaning – this will make the application and decoration stage much easier later on. You can do this with simple soap and water – ensure that they’ve dried off sufficiently before decorating. Next you’ll want to coat the shoes and purse with fabric adhesive – a light coat should be more than enough. Go ahead and apply your petals – the tops of the shoes are a good place, as are the sides of your purse. You don’t want to overdo it because it will just look sloppy, but don’t be too stingy either.
