You can use flag garlands to decorate any room of your house. These garlands can help you plan a great surprise birthday party. You can even use them to embellish your home on special events like Christmas or New Years. You can follow these easy steps to make simple or fancy flag garlands. Here are some items you will need for this project.

  • Stiff felt sheets
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Printed craft papers
  • Punching machine
  • Ribbons
  • Decorative metallic tape
  • Duct tape/Nails

What you’ll do:

  1. Choose stiff craft papers- Use assorted patterned papers and cut out triangle shaped pieces. You can use glossy  papers from old magazines or use colorful designer papers if you don’t have magazines at home. Choose plain or multicolored  papers according to the event.
  2. Paste the paper triangles on a felt sheet- Now you can paste your triangle cut outs on a large felt sheet. Make sure that there is a fine distance between each triangle. Cut out the pasted triangles out of this felt sheet.
  3. Decorate your triangle cut outs- Decorate your triangle cut outs with decorative material. You can paste shimmery metallic tape to make the borders of your triangles. Pastorelli offers exceptional diamond fluorescent adhesive tape rolls. These vividly colored metallic tape rolls come with a glossy metallic finish.
  4. Paste the triangle cut outs on a ribbon strip- You can now paste all your triangle cut outs on a long strip of ribbon. Let the tip of each triangle face downward. The base of each cut out should be pasted on the ribbon. You can paste all the triangle cut outs next to each other and beautify your cut outs and ribbon with gold star stickers.

Once you have arranged all the cut outs on the ribbon, your flag garland should be ready to showcase for your friends and family!
